Dan is an aggressive and passionate trial attorney with over twenty years of experience defending employers in State and Federal Court and in private arbitration proceedings.

His practice includes advising private and public sector employers and educational institutions on all aspects of labor and employment law. Dan guides employers in creating employee policies and handbooks; provides advice regarding disciplinary procedures; and assists employers in the handling of employee complaints and all other employment matters.

He has extensive experience in all facets of mediation and is adept at assisting employers in the resolution of employment disputes. Dan has a unique ability to quickly assess employment claims and to recommend effective solutions.

Dan serves as a court-appointed mediator for both the New Hampshire Superior Court system and the Federal District Court of New Hampshire. He is a member of the New Hampshire, Maine and American Bar Associations.

Dan is admitted to practice law in Maine, New Hampshire and the United States Court of Appeals for the 1st Circuit.

Dan Schwarz received his B.A. from Northwestern University in 1979 and received his JD from Boston University Law School in 1985.
